2019 has gotten off to a busy start for me. On New Year’s Day, I was invited to the house of famed traditional Chinese art historian and painter Jixiong Lao (勞繼雄) for a discussion and dinner. I had an interesting time during the discussion and a delightful time during dinner. I was not crazy about the crabs though. Moreover, I received a piece of artwork from him.
On Friday evening, I went to a birthday party, thanks to William Go, a fellow UCI Paul Merage School of Business alumnus.
On Saturday, I went hiking with a group of people from Taiwanese American Professionals Orange County Chapter members. The hike was longer than planned, and I was sore afterwards. However, it was fun.
What a great way to start off 2019! I look forward to stay busy doing what I enjoy doing.
